Marlies Heere

She was born in Oosterhout in Brabant on December 14, 1967. As a child, Marlies liked to draw and paint and there was clearly some talent at the time. Nevertheless, she opted for a different direction and eventually became executive secretary. However, in 1999, Marlies had an accident that forced her to make it to the scene. That gave her time to think about what she really wanted, namely to draw and paint. She bought her first watercolor set in 2002 and had her first exhibition in 2005 with large abstract works. Eventually she discovered oil paint that she has become a lover of, with her preference for still lifes on panel. Marlies strives for perfection and quality in all her work, while also using high-quality material.
